# Who Are We?

### The Founders

We are Aymeric and Guillaume, two friends passionate about sports, nature, and nutrition, who met while attending university in 2015.

Upon returning from a year in Australia and as part of our doctoral studies in industrial pharmacy at the University of Grenoble Alpes, we decided to launch a thesis project on nutrition. Initially focused on clinical nutrition, we became interested in the challenges of the sports nutrition market and decided to find practical ways to address them.

During our modest athletic careers in our younger years, we were tempted to try various types of sports nutrition products, particularly recovery and protein supplements. However, we never actually consumed them, as we were poorly informed about their benefits and skeptical about the quality and origin of these products.

So we created our own products, initially for ourselves, and to this day we remain their primary daily users and testers.

The core principles of Protéalpes were established right from the earliest stages of research and development: sports nutrition that is 100% free of additives and sweeteners, extensive sourcing of raw materials to find the best options for each ingredient, all backed by impeccable traceability and total transparency.

Today, Protéalpes has carved out a place for itself among the major players in sports nutrition, particularly in the world of professional sports, something of which we are very proud. We, Aymeric and Guillaume, are still at the helm of the company and will continue to maintain the same level of rigor and quality that has made Protéalpes such an incredible success in just a few years.
