The best for carbohydrate and energy replenishment
Practitioners of high-intensity strength and/or endurance sports (rugby, soccer, field hockey, handball...) need an energy boost, in the form of rapidly assimilated carbohydrates, at half-time.
This can be the case for other sports, such as racquet sports, or any other intense and long practice (>1h of effort), which includes breaks.
The aim of the energy half-time is to provide the player with an adapted intake of carbohydrates, over a very short period of time, just before returning to the pitch.
The carbohydrate/electrolyte/vitamin C mix has been studied for optimal nutritional and cognitive effects, boosting performance in the second half and reducing the perception of fatigue.

Terms of use
- Place 25 g (one measuring spoon) of powder in a gourd or graduated shaker.
- Pour in fresh water until the 300 ml mark is reached.
- Shake well to dilute powder
Be careful to respect the dilution volumes of 300 ml for 1 portion, to avoid the risk of obtaining a hypertonic solution.
To be taken during a break.

Frequently asked questions
Fructose in Mi-temps Énergie: Why?
Because current scientific understanding identifies the combination of glucose and fructose as the ideal choice for halftime. These two carbohydrates cross the intestinal barrier via distinct pathways. Mi-temps Énergie was specifically formulated for this moment and to meet the needs of team sport players.
Is fructose bad for your health? When consumed in excess on a daily basis—particularly through sodas—it is linked to metabolic disorders and poses a public health concern. Occasional consumption of about 4 g in a sports context is nothing like that: no adverse effects are expected at this dose.
300 ml: Why specify that amount?
Because isotonicity depends on volume. An isotonic beverage contains, for the same volume, as many dissolved particles as blood plasma. Designed to provide an appropriate energy boost, Mi-temps Énergie has been verified through laboratory tests: it is isotonic when mixed with 300 ml of still water.
Not enough water? The mixture becomes hypertonic, is absorbed less efficiently, and may cause intestinal discomfort. Too much water? It becomes hypotonic: not really a problem, but the player has to drink an extra volume of fluid that he doesn’t need during halftime.
Is vitamin C natural?
Yes. It comes from organic acerola powder, a fruit that is naturally rich in vitamin C, with no added vitamin C. This isn’t always the case: in the food industry, vitamin C can be 100% synthetic, natural, or a combination of both. This choice stems from the high standards we set for each ingredient.
When should you take Mi-temps Énergie?
At halftime, during the break, when the player has completed the first half and will play at least part of the second. The right time: starting in the middle of the break, 5 to 8 minutes before play resumes. Before that, a few small sips of cool water are enough.
Why not drink it right away? Because consuming it at the very start of halftime can cause a temporary drop in blood sugar (known as reactive hypoglycemia) in some players just before they return to the game.
