About the recipe
Maybe not as quick as a frozen pizza, but a whole lot healthier and more delicious! Try this incredibly tasty pizza made with cauliflower and enhanced with whey protein powder. Increase the flavor and decrease the guilt.

Ingredients
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
- 1 large cauliflower, finely chopped
- A pinch of salt
- 115 g grated mozzarella/parmesan cheese mix
- 1 egg
- 30 g wheat flour
- ½ tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 scoop no-sugar-added whey protein, vanilla flavour (this flavour is very light and blends well with the rest of the ingredients)
- 50 g tomato sauce
- 100 g fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Basil leaves and tomato for garnish
Steps to follow
Step 1
Thinly slice the tomato.
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Remove the stems from the cauliflower and cut into florets. Blend in a food processor until it resembles a paste.
Step 2
Place the cauliflower mixture on a non-stick baking sheet and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 20 minutes. Leave to cool slightly.
Squeeze out all the liquid from the cauliflower with a clean cloth if necessary.
Increase oven temperature to 220°C.
Step 3
Return the cauliflower paste to the food processor and add the cheese, egg, flour, garlic powder, salt and whey protein powder. Blend well.
Place the dough on the baking sheet and flatten. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
Step 4
Spread the tomato sauce, tomato slices and fresh mozzarella over the pizza and bake again until the cheese melts.
Top with grated cheese and sprinkle with fresh basil.

Advice
Vary the vegetables according to the season, so that pizza can accompany you all year round! Leeks in winter, peppers in summer... you're in for a treat!
