Ingredients
- 200 g organic or free-range chicken
- 300 g raw penne pasta
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 scoop of no-sugar-added vanilla whey (the taste is very light and goes very well in the recipe)
- 200 ml whole milk
- 50 g grated Comté or Beaufort cheese
- 4 fresh button mushrooms
- Freshly chopped parsley or basil
- 15 g oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps to follow
Step 1
Pour the oil into a saucepan and sauté the onion until golden. Stir in the chopped garlic and sliced mushrooms to brown thoroughly.
Boil pasta according to package instructions.
Step 2
Cook the chicken, cut into small pieces.
On the other hand, mix the milk and whey in a shaker. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir continuously to prevent burning.
Step 3
Lower the heat and whisk the cheese into the hot milk until it has completely melted and the sauce is thick and smooth.
Add the chicken and freshly boiled pasta. Mix well.
Step 4
Decorate the top with the herbs and a touch of cheese.
