Very detailed description
The best for post-workout recovery
In athletes, protein requirements are higher due to increased muscle catabolism. Appropriate amino acid nutrition is therefore necessary to cover the needs associated with stimulating protein synthesis during the recovery phase of muscular exercise.
Whey proteins, or whey, are dietary supplements for sports nutrition that :
- Excellent digestibility
- Almost immediate availability of amino acids
- Are rich in essential amino acids, particularly BCAAs
- Absorb faster than most other protein sources, giving them superior anabolic and anti-catabolic effects.
Objectives :
- Improved anaerobic and aerobic performance (strength and endurance)
- Muscular development, lower body fat/lean mass ratio, weight gain, weight control
- Recovering and strengthening muscle fibres damaged during training
Respect for the environment, animals and people

- Low concentration of animals in Rhône-Alpes pastures (up to 2,500 m)
- Small-scale farms in the French Alps (exclusively in the Rhône-Alpes region)
- Traditional breeds with lower yields (Tarines, Abondances), adapted to mountain environments
- Traditional grass and hay diet from the geographical area, GMO-free
- Coherence and sustainable development of the agricultural system with its environment and time.
What's the difference with other wheys on the market?
We deal directly with a union of dairy producers (Union des Producteurs de Beaufort), which means we don't go through intermediaries, wholesalers or milk giants. This unique proximity to local primary producers ensures total traceability.
We carefully manufacture our nutrition products in Albertville, in the heart of the Alps. The fact that we use no subcontractors and keep and control all stages of production in-house means that we can control the quality of our nutrition products, and in particular that we are certified to NF EN 17444 (formerly NF V94-001), a European anti-doping sports standard.
This standard certifies the absence of doping contaminants in our products, bearing in mind that on average, 15% of dietary supplements on the market contain doping substances such as anabolic steroids (1).

Terms of use
- Pour 150 to 200 ml of liquid (water, plant-based milk, milk, or a mixture) into a shaker, then add 1 serving of vanilla whey (1 scoop provided = 1 serving).
- Mix in a shaker, shaking up and down.
- Finish with light circular movements of the shaker*.
*As we don't use lecithin (a foam-reducing surfactant), a light layer of foam may appear after mixing too vigorously. This is perfectly normal and will disappear within a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Does this whey really taste less sweet?
Yes. This vanilla whey is part of Protéalpes' no added sugar range, designed for athletes who want a non-sweet taste without sweeteners.
On the product sheet, it is presented as a whey with "zero sweet taste, " with a sugar concentration after mixing of less than 1.2%.
What is the difference compared to the classic range?
The main difference lies in the flavor profile and formulation. Vanilla whey with no added sugar aims for a less sweet taste, with 91% whey protein isolate and a lactose concentration of less than 5%.
The classic range contains whole cane sugar in its recipe, with 73% isolate and a lactose concentration of less than 3%. The no-added-sugar version also contains 25 servings, compared to 19 servings for the classic range.
Is this vanilla whey organic?
No, this vanilla whey cannot be marketed as organic whey. We use organic ingredients as much as possible, such as certain flavorings or sweeteners depending on the recipe, and we are certified by Ecocert. However, the milk used to make the whey powder is not certified organic.
We have chosen to favor local milk from alpine pastures rather than organic milk collected on a large scale from longer and less localized European supply chains.
With water or milk?
Both are possible. This vanilla whey dissolves easily in water or milk, without clumping.
In practice, water helps to maintain a lighter texture that is very faithful to the positioning without added sugars, while milk provides a creamier texture.
Who is it ideal for?
This whey is ideal for athletes who want a protein-rich recovery protein, without sweeteners, with a mildly sweet vanilla flavor.
It is particularly suitable for those who do not like very sweet shakes, who are looking for a formula with a short list of ingredients, and who want a whey designed for post-workout recovery.
Does it contain lactose?
Yes, like all whey derived from milk, it naturally contains lactose.
However, its content remains limited: the product sheet indicates a lactose concentration of less than 5%.
Why does this vanilla whey not contain lecithin?
We have chosen not to add lecithin, an emulsifier often used in industrial whey products to reduce foaming and improve instant mixing. Lecithin is generally derived from soybeans, a raw material that we do not wish to include in our formulation, particularly because it is often associated with GMO crops and extraction processes involving solvents.
Result: this whey may foam slightly after vigorous mixing, especially in warm weather. This phenomenon is natural, temporary, and does not affect the quality of the powder or its digestibility. To limit foaming, pour the liquid into the shaker first, then add the powder, and store the sachet in a cool place, or even in the refrigerator during hot weather.
