The best for post-workout recovery
Athletes have higher protein requirements due to increased muscle catabolism. An adequate intake of amino acids is therefore necessary to meet the needs associated with stimulating protein synthesis during the recovery phase following muscle exercise. Whey proteins are dietary supplements for athletes that:
- Excellent digestibility
- Almost immediate availability of amino acids
- Are rich in essential amino acids, particularly BCAAs
- Absorb faster than most other protein sources, giving them superior anabolic and anti-catabolic effects.
Objectives :
- Improved anaerobic and aerobic performance (strength and endurance)
- Muscular development, lower body fat/lean mass ratio, weight gain, weight control
- Recovering and strengthening muscle fibres damaged during training
Respect for the environment, animals and people

- Low concentration of animals in Rhône-Alpes pastures (up to 2,500 m)
- Small-scale farms in the French Alps (exclusively in the Rhône-Alpes region)
- Traditional breeds with lower yields (Tarines, Abondances), adapted to mountain environments
- Traditional grass and hay diet from the geographical area, GMO-free
- Consistency and sustainable development of the agricultural system in harmony with its environment and the times
What's the difference with other wheys on the market?
We deal directly with a union of dairy producers (Union des Producteurs de Beaufort), which means we don't go through intermediaries, wholesalers or milk giants. This unique proximity to local primary producers ensures total traceability.
We carefully manufacture our nutrition products in Albertville, in the heart of the Alps. The fact that we use no subcontractors and keep and control all stages of production in-house means that we can control the quality of our nutrition products, and in particular that we are certified to NF EN 17444 (formerly NF V94-001), a European anti-doping sports standard.
This standard certifies the absence of doping contaminants in our products, bearing in mind that on average, 15% of dietary supplements on the market contain doping substances such as anabolic steroids (1).

Terms of use
- Pour 150 to 200 ml of liquid (water, plant-based milk, milk, or a mixture) into a shaker, then add 1 serving of whey protein
- Mix in a shaker, shaking up and down.
- Finish with light circular movements of the shaker*.
*As we don't use lecithin (a foam-reducing surfactant), a light layer of foam may appear after mixing too vigorously. This is perfectly normal and will disappear within a few minutes.
Classic use in a shaker, but also in:
Pancakes
Cakes
Other income
Porridges
Shakers
Smoothies

Frequently asked questions
What is your whey made of?
In short: whey protein, in the form of an isolate. In detail: whey, derived from cow’s milk, is filtered using microfiltration and ultrafiltration—mechanical processes applied at cold temperatures, without heat treatment—to minimize protein denaturation. The isolate is then spray-dried: the drying process takes about one millisecond and results in a very fine powder. It primarily contains beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, bovine serum albumin, lactoferrin, and immunoglobulins. These proteins are rich in essential amino acids, BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine)—which play a role in muscle protein synthesis—and glutamic acid, from which glutamine is produced. Bodybuilding was the first field to utilize them.
Does the Classic line serve as a shapewear garment?
In short: no. In detail: A weight gainer often provides more carbohydrates than protein—ideally 20 to 25 g of protein for about three times as many carbohydrates—to provide plenty of calories for muscle gain. The classic line contains only the minimum amount of carbohydrates to complement the protein. The sugar used is real, organic, whole sugar—unrefined—chosen instead of aspartame or sucralose (which are up to 600 times sweeter). It adds bulk, resulting in a slightly lower protein content per 100 g. Once mixed, the drink contains about 5% carbohydrates.
Organic or not: What's the latest on your sugar-free coffee-flavored whey?
In short: it is not certified organic because of the milk. Here’s why: we use as many organic ingredients as possible (vanilla powder, natural red fruit flavoring, sugar, cocoa, etc.), which are inspected and certified by Ecocert, but the milk from which our whey powder is derived is not certified organic; therefore, we are not allowed to use the term “French organic whey.” We chose to use local milk from the extensive farming system of our partner, the Union des Producteurs de Beaufort, and its pastures in the Rhône-Alpes region, rather than organic milk, for which such local sourcing could not have been guaranteed.
Why does whey sometimes foam?
In short: it’s natural, temporary, and we’ve chosen not to prevent it with an additive. In detail: all proteins foam when reconstituted in a liquid, to an extent that varies with their purity, and even more so in hot weather, which disrupts the interaction between proteins and water. Many products add lecithin—often soy lecithin—an emulsifier; we do not use it, nor do we use any processed soy products. To minimize foaming: store the packet in a cool, dry place (cellar, or refrigerator if tightly sealed), which has no effect on the quality of the powder; pour the liquid before adding the powder; mix as directed on the back of the packet.
Do you add BCAAs to SSA coffee-flavored whey?
In short: no. To be more specific: we do not add any proteins or amino acids. The BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine) come naturally from whey, which provides 5 to 6 g per serving—more than many plant-based proteins. The other ingredients, such as cocoa, contribute only a negligible amount.
Why consume whey?
In short: to supplement your protein intake. In detail: Whey is primarily intended for athletes whose diet does not always meet their protein needs. Protein helps increase and maintain muscle mass. Rich in protein, whey is often consumed after a workout, though the most important factor is your total daily protein intake.
