Pea protein: Protein intake for athletes, from recovery to everyday life
When you exercise, muscle catabolism increases, and your protein needs consequently rise. An adequate intake of amino acids is therefore essential to support protein synthesis, both during recovery and in daily life—especially when your diet includes a smaller proportion of animal protein.
Pea protein isolates are dietary supplements for sports nutrition that:
- Foods rich in BCAAs include: leucine, isoleucine, and valine
- Are highly digestible
- Provide a naturally complete amino acid profile, including all essential amino acids
Objectives :
Supplement your daily protein intake—especially if you follow a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet—and meet your protein needs for both strength and endurance training.
- Protein helps build and maintain muscle mass
- Provide the amino acids needed to repair muscle fibers that are worked during training
Respect for the environment and for people

- Ecocert FR Organic Certification
- Non-GMO seeds, developed and produced in-house by Puris
- North American farmers under direct contract with Puris, a family-owned company
- As a legume, the yellow pea fixes nitrogen from the air, naturally enriches the soil, and requires very little water
- 100% sail-powered transatlantic shipping with Grain de Sail to reduce the carbon footprint from the United States
How does it differ from other plant-based proteins on the market?
On the market, many plant-based proteins are primarily sourced in Asia from raw materials often imported from the United States and/or Asia; this makes traceability difficult. To avoid this, we have chosen to work directly with Puris, a family-owned American company that manages its entire supply chain: it develops its own non-GMO seeds, has its organic peas grown in North America by contract farmers, and performs the extraction in its own facilities. This model, which is rare in the industry, allows us to trace each batch back to its field of origin.
Our nutrition products are then carefully produced in Albertville, in the heart of the Alps. Our team handles the formulation, packaging, and shipping in-house, without any subcontractors. They are developed and manufactured in accordance with the European anti-doping standard NF EN 17444, which replaced the French standard NF V94-001.
This voluntary standard provides a framework for manufacturing to limit the risk of contamination by doping substances. This risk is real: an international study detected undeclared anabolic steroids in approximately 15% of 634 supplements purchased in 2000–2001 (1).

Terms of use
- Pour 250–300 ml of liquid (water, plant-based milk, or a mixture) into a shaker, then add 1 serving of organic plant-based protein.
- Mix in a shaker, shaking up and down.
- Finish with light circular movements of the shaker*.
*As we don't use lecithin (a foam-reducing surfactant), a light layer of foam may appear after mixing too vigorously. This is perfectly normal and will disappear within a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions
What is pea protein?
Our protein is derived from yellow peas, a legume. Our isolate is extracted using water and mechanical separation, without chemical solvents: this process concentrates the pea proteins while preserving their nutritional profile, and a drying process yields a fine powder.
Pea proteins are primarily globulins (legumin and vicilin) and albumins. Composed of amino acids, they form a naturally complete profile, containing all the essential amino acids. Peas are rich in arginine and lysine, as well as BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine), which contribute to muscle protein synthesis. However, they have a more moderate content of sulfur-containing amino acids (methionine and cysteine), which can easily be supplemented by a varied and balanced diet.
Is the classic range a gainer?
A weight gainer is a protein product that often contains more carbohydrates than protein. The ideal ratio is around 20 to 25 g of protein to about three times as many carbohydrates, with the goal of providing plenty of calories in addition to protein for people who want to gain muscle mass. Our Classic line is not a weight gainer: it contains only the minimum amount of carbohydrates to complement the protein, with a slight contribution to replenishing glycogen stores.
We chose sugar rather than artificial sweeteners like sucralose or aspartame, which can be up to 600 times sweeter than sugar. However, sugar adds volume and mass to the mixture, resulting in a slightly lower protein concentration per 100 g of finished product. After mixing in a shaker, the carbohydrate content is around 5%.
Why should you consume pea protein?
It is suitable for athletes, preferably after a workout: protein helps increase and maintain muscle mass. It is also a good source of amino acids to supplement your daily protein intake, especially if you follow a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet.
Do you add BCAAs to your plant-based protein?
We do not add any protein or amino acid supplements. Most of the amino acids come from pea isolate, which is rich in BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and arginine; the rest comes from other ingredients, such as cocoa, in negligible amounts. If you see “BCAA,” “L-leucine,” or “EAA” in a product’s ingredient list, these are isolated amino acids added to the protein. We have chosen not to fortify our products in this way.
