Pea protein: fueling your workouts and every day
When you exercise regularly, muscle breakdown increases (this is called catabolism), and your protein needs rise. The body must therefore receive sufficient amino acids to maintain protein synthesis—both during recovery and throughout the day—especially when animal products are less common on the plate.
Used as a dietary supplement by athletes, pea protein isolates:
- Are rich in BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine)
- Are very easy to digest
- Naturally contains all 9 essential amino acids, providing a complete profile
Objectives :
- Increase your daily protein intake on a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet
- Meeting the needs of both strength and endurance sports
- Protein helps build muscle mass and then maintain it
- To provide the amino acids needed to repair muscle fibers after exercise
Respect for the environment and for people

- Organic farming guaranteed by Ecocert FR certification
- Non-GMO seeds developed and produced in-house by Puris
- North American farmers contracted directly to Puris, a family-owned company
- Yellow peas, a legume that fixes nitrogen from the air, naturally enrich the soil and require little water
- A 100% sail-powered transatlantic crossing with Grain de Sail, which minimizes the carbon footprint of shipping from the United States
How does it differ from other plant-based proteins on the market?
Few plant-based proteins can trace their origin: primarily extracted in Asia from American and/or Asian raw materials, they pass through wholesalers and resellers, making it impossible to trace them back to the field. In contrast, we work with Puris, a family-owned American company that manages the entire supply chain. Its non-GMO seeds are developed in-house, its organic peas are grown in North America by contract farmers, and extraction takes place in its own facilities. This is a rare model, thanks to which every batch can be traced back to the field.
In Albertville, in the heart of the Alps, we then carefully manufacture our products in-house: formulation, packaging, and shipping are all handled at our facilities. Our products are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the European standard NF EN 17444, which prevents doping and replaces NF V94-001.
This voluntary standard aims to limit the presence of performance-enhancing substances. The stakes are high: in 2000–2001, an international study found such substances (undeclared anabolic steroids) in 94 of the 634 supplements tested, or 14.8% (1).

Terms of use
- Pour 250–300 ml of liquid (water, plant-based milk, or a mixture) into a shaker, then add 1 serving of organic plant-based protein.
- Mix in a shaker, shaking up and down.
- Finish with light circular movements of the shaker*.
*As we don't use lecithin (a foam-reducing surfactant), a light layer of foam may appear after mixing too vigorously. This is perfectly normal and will disappear within a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions
What is pea protein?
It all starts with the yellow pea, a legume. To obtain our isolate, the peas are processed with water: a mechanical separation process—without chemical solvents—isolates the proteins and concentrates them, a process that preserves their nutritional profile. A final drying step yields a fine powder.
In peas, proteins are primarily divided into globulins (legumin, vicilin) and albumins, all of which are composed of amino acids. In their natural state, they provide all the essential amino acids. In terms of amino acids, peas are rich in arginine and lysine. They are also rich in BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine), which contribute to muscle protein synthesis. The only caveat is that sulfur-containing amino acids (methionine, cysteine) are present in more moderate amounts, a gap that can easily be bridged by varying one’s diet.
Is your classic line a weight gainer?
No. A “gainer” is a protein product in which carbohydrates often exceed protein content: the ideal formula combines 20 to 25 g of protein with about three times as many carbohydrates. Its purpose is to add a high caloric intake to that of the protein, for people who want to gain muscle mass. Our classic line does not follow this approach: it limits carbohydrates to the minimum necessary to complement the protein and contributes slightly to replenishing glycogen stores.
For flavor, we rely on sugar rather than artificial sweeteners such as sucralose or aspartame, which are up to 600 times sweeter than sugar. These sweeteners are used in very small quantities; sugar, on the other hand, takes up volume and mass in the powder, which slightly lowers the protein content per 100 g of finished product. When mixed in a shaker, the ready-to-drink beverage contains about 5% carbohydrates.
Why should you include pea protein in your diet?
First, to supplement your daily protein intake: peas are a good source of amino acids, especially as part of a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet. They’re also ideal for athletes, particularly after a workout. A helpful reminder: protein helps build and maintain muscle mass.
Are your plant-based proteins enriched with BCAAs?
No. No additional protein or amino acids are added to our formula. The amino acids come almost exclusively from pea isolate, which is rich in BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and arginine; the rest—a negligible amount—comes from other ingredients such as cocoa. When a product’s ingredient list mentions “BCAA,” “L-leucine,” or “EAA,” it indicates that the product has been fortified with isolated amino acids. We have chosen not to do this.
