The best for recovery and daily protein intake
Exercise increases muscle catabolism and, as a result, raises protein requirements. An adequate intake of amino acids is therefore essential to support protein synthesis, both during recovery and on a daily basis, especially when the diet contains a smaller proportion of animal protein.
Pea protein isolates are dietary supplements for sports nutrition that:
- Contain one of the highest levels of BCAAs found in plant-based foods
- Are highly digestible
- Provide a naturally complete amino acid profile, including all essential amino acids
Objectives :
- To supplement daily protein intake, particularly as part of a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet
- Improvements in both strength and endurance (anaerobic and aerobic)
- Muscle building, optimizing the lean-to-fat mass ratio, gaining weight, or weight management
- Repair and strengthening of the muscle fibers used during training
Respect for the environment and for people

- Organic production certified by Ecocert FR
- Non-GMO seeds that Puris develops and produces itself
- Puris, a family-owned company, works directly with its North American growers
- The yellow pea, a legume, fixes nitrogen from the air, naturally enriches the soil, and requires very little water
- Grain de Sail provides transatlantic shipping powered entirely by sail, for a lower-carbon journey from the United States
How does it differ from other plant-based proteins on the market?
Many plant-based proteins are primarily extracted in Asia from American and/or Asian raw materials, with traceability becoming increasingly difficult to track as the product passes through each intermediary. Puris, a family-owned American company, does things differently: it controls the entire process from seed to powder. Its non-GMO seeds are developed in-house, its organic peas are grown in North America by contract farmers, and extraction takes place in its own facilities. This rare model allows us to trace each batch back to its field of origin.
The story continues in the Alps, in Albertville, where our nutrition products are carefully crafted. Formulation, packaging, and shipping are all carried out on our premises, without any subcontractors, in accordance with the European anti-doping standard NF EN 17444 (which replaces NF V94-001).
When voluntarily applied, this standard limits the risk of doping substances being present. An international study shows that this risk is not negligible: 94 out of 634 supplements purchased in 2000–2001 contained undeclared anabolic steroids (1).

Terms of use
- Pour 250–300 ml of liquid (water, plant-based milk, or a mixture) into a shaker, then add 1 serving of organic plant-based protein.
- Mix in a shaker, shaking up and down.
- Finish with light circular movements of the shaker*.
*As we don't use lecithin (a foam-reducing surfactant), a light layer of foam may appear after mixing too vigorously. This is perfectly normal and will disappear within a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Pea protein: What is it?
The starting point is the yellow pea, a legume. To produce our isolate, it is processed with water, without any chemical solvents: a mechanical separation process isolates the proteins and concentrates them while preserving their nutritional profile. The isolate is then dried, resulting in a fine powder.
What does it contain? Globulins (legumin, vicilin) and albumins—that is, amino acids—including all the essential amino acids: the profile is naturally complete. Peas are rich in arginine, lysine, and BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine), which contribute to muscle protein synthesis. Sulfur-containing amino acids (methionine, cysteine) are present in smaller amounts, but a varied diet easily provides them.
Is the Classic line a weight gainer?
No. In a weight gainer, carbohydrates often dominate: the ideal ratio is 20 to 25 g of protein to about three times as many carbohydrates, with a high caloric content to build muscle mass. Our classic line works differently: it contains only the minimum amount of carbohydrates needed to complement the protein, which makes a slight contribution to replenishing glycogen stores.
Our recipe is based on sugar, not sucralose or aspartame, which are up to 600 times sweeter. As a result, sugar accounts for a portion of the mixture’s volume and mass, leading to a slightly lower protein content per 100 g of finished product. Once the powder is mixed in the shaker, carbohydrates make up about 5% of the drink.
Why Choose Pea Protein?
There are two main reasons. Pea protein is a good source of amino acids to supplement your daily protein intake, especially if you follow a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet. It’s also suitable for athletes, particularly after a workout, since protein helps build and maintain muscle mass.
Do you fortify plant-based protein with BCAAs?
No: We do not add any additional proteins or amino acids. Those found in the recipe come primarily from pea isolate, which is rich in BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and arginine; the rest—a negligible amount—comes from other ingredients such as cocoa. A product whose ingredient list includes “BCAA,” “L-leucine,” or “EAA” is fortified with isolated amino acids. This is a practice we have chosen to avoid.
