Very detailed description
Pea isolate: meeting your protein needs after exercise and in your daily routine
The more you exercise, the more muscle breaks down and the more protein it requires. To ensure that protein synthesis is adequately supported, amino acid intake must be adjusted: this requirement applies during recovery periods as well as during regular meals, and becomes even more important when the diet includes little animal protein.
Among dietary supplements for athletes, pea protein isolates offer the following benefits:
- A high content of BCAAs—namely leucine, isoleucine, and valine
- Very good digestibility
- A naturally complete amino acid profile, including all 9 essential amino acids
Objectives :
Supplement your daily protein intake as part of a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet.
- To complement both strength and endurance training
- Protein helps build and maintain muscle mass
- Provide the amino acids needed to repair the muscle fibers that are working during exercise
Respect for the environment and for people

- An organic ingredient, certified by Ecocert FR
- Non-GMO seeds developed and produced in-house by Puris
- A direct, contract-based relationship between Puris, a family-owned business, and its growers in North America
- The yellow pea is a legume that fixes nitrogen from the air, naturally enriches the soil, and requires little water
- A 100% sail-powered Atlantic crossing with Grain de Sail, to minimize the carbon footprint of shipping from the United States
How does it differ from other plant-based proteins on the market?
Choosing a plant-based protein also means choosing its origin. Primarily extracted in Asia—often from raw materials sourced from the United States and/or Asia—many plant-based proteins lose their traceability as they pass through various intermediaries. Our partner, Puris, an American family-owned company, takes a different approach: with an integrated process from seed to powder, it develops its own non-GMO seeds, has organic peas grown in North America by contract farmers, and extracts the protein in its own facilities. This is a rare model that allows us to trace every batch back to the field.
We take over in Albertville, in the heart of the Alps, where our nutrition products are carefully crafted. We handle the formulation, packaging, and shipping ourselves at our facilities, without any subcontractors. Our products are manufactured in accordance with the European anti-doping standard NF EN 17444, which replaced the French standard NF V94-001.
This voluntary standard aims to limit the risk of doping substances. An international study found that, out of 634 supplements purchased in 2000–2001, 94 (or 14.8%) contained anabolic steroids that were not listed on the label (1).

Terms of use
- Pour 250–300 ml of liquid (water, plant-based milk, or a mixture) into a shaker, then add 1 serving of organic plant-based protein.
- Mix in a shaker, shaking up and down.
- Finish with light circular movements of the shaker*.
*As we don't use lecithin (a foam-reducing surfactant), a light layer of foam may appear after mixing too vigorously. This is perfectly normal and will disappear within a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Pea protein: What is its profile?
A complete amino acid profile. Pea proteins, primarily globulins (legumin, vicilin) and albumins, are composed of amino acids, and they contain all the essential amino acids. Peas are rich in arginine, lysine, and BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine), which contribute to muscle protein synthesis. Their sulfur-containing amino acids (methionine, cysteine) are slightly less abundant; simply varying your diet is enough to compensate.
These proteins come from yellow peas, a legume. To produce our isolate, the protein is extracted with water—without any chemical solvents—using a mechanical separation process that concentrates it while preserving its nutritional profile. A final drying step yields the fine powder.
Can we talk about "gainer" in relation to the classic line?
The answer is no. Ideally, a weight gainer contains 20 to 25 g of protein for about three times as many carbohydrates: it often contains more carbohydrates than protein and is used to add a significant number of calories to the protein to help build muscle mass. Our classic line keeps carbohydrates to the bare minimum necessary to complement the protein and contributes only slightly to the replenishment of glycogen stores.
In terms of flavor, the recipe uses sugar rather than artificial sweeteners: sucralose and aspartame can be up to 600 times sweeter, whereas sugar adds volume and mass. The protein content is therefore slightly lower per 100 g of finished product. When mixed in a shaker, the reconstituted drink contains about 5% carbohydrates.
Why should you consume pea protein?
It supplements daily protein intake, particularly for those following a vegetarian, vegan, or flexitarian diet: peas are a good source of amino acids. Athletes often consume them after a workout; it’s worth noting that protein helps build and maintain muscle mass.
Are BCAAs added to plant-based protein?
No, nothing is added. We do not add any protein supplements or amino acids: the majority comes from pea isolate, which is rich in BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine) and arginine, with the remainder—in negligible amounts—coming from other ingredients such as cocoa. If “BCAA,” “L-leucine,” or “EAA” appear in a product’s ingredient list, it means isolated amino acids have been added to the protein. That’s not our approach.
